Having said this, we have set certain booking conditions that must be fulfilled in order to join our large family of adventure lovers where we offer service with a personal touch.
Last Minute Booking
- A photocopy of your passport must be presented
- 20% of the total amount must be deposited for every trip. Balance payment can be paid up once you arrive at our office
- Full payment is compulsory before the departure of the trip
- Payments can be made through Credit Card, Master Card, Travelers Cheque or Cash.
- Bank service charges incurred while depositing the amount for the trip is the responsibility of client
- If you are paying through credit card,3.5% extra charge will be levied to you for a credit card processing fee
Risk and Liabilities:
- Last minute booking is entertained only in case of tour in Nepal only
- In case of last minute booking for tour in Nepal, you should book the trip at least 2 days before the tour starting date.
Our every focus is converged towards giving maximum comfort and best services to you. We will do everything that needs to be done to make your trip a memorable one. All the services will be given according to the agreement between you and us in the time of booking. But it should be considered that all tours conducted in Nepal, India and Bhutan will be run strictly under the policies of the given country.
Grandi Travels and Tour Pvt. Ltd. or its agent shall not be held responsible for any change or cancellation of events and tours due to unavoidable circumstances like government restriction, land slide, road blockage, avalanche, flight cancellation, flood, delay, sickness and vehicle breakdown. Any extra charges incurred under such situations shall be collected from the clients on the spot. So, it would be wise to have your trip insurance. Full insurance against medical and personal accident risk are also recommended.
Trip Cancellation and Deposit:
Unexpected reasons can cause your trip to be cancelled or delayed. We have certain provision regarding trip cancellation and deposit which states- ‘If you need to cancel the trip for any reason, your initial deposit will stay securely on file throughout your life until you are ready to use it. Or, you can transfer the deposit to the person of your choice.’
Cancellation of a confirmed booking must be made by the client in writing either in written documents or an e-mail. Cancellation shall be valid only when the company approves the document that it received. Hotel cancelation charges and Flights cancelation charges will be deducted from the advance deposit. Remaining amount will then be kept in lifetime deposit. The cancelation charges will lie anywhere in between US$50.00 to US$100.00 per person.
In case of Incomplete Tour:
No matter whatever the reason, we will not make refund to any tour member in case of incomplete tour, trek or expedition.
Postponing a trip:
Written notification is to be sent before 15 days from the trip departure date in case the clients wish to postpone the trip.
In case of cancelation of your trip due to unforeseen circumstances like war, natural calamities, riot and unsuitable climate, Grandi Travels and Tour will refer an alternative trip of the similar standard. Yet, this trip will not be mandatory as you will get the refund of full money that you have paid to our company if you do not wish to go for the referred trip. But, we will not be responsible for other extra expenses incurred by you as a result of the booking.
Several factors play key role in determining the price rates of our package. Change in any one of those factors will automatically bring about the change in the price of our trip. So, we reserve the right to revise the price rate that we have posted in our marketing material and website in case of the change in various external factors that are not in our control like changes in exchange rate, change in government policy and change in fuel price. We always try to offer the best current price in our trip.
Passport and Visas:
- Every client must have a valid passport with at least 6months validity from return date.
- Nepalese Visa can easily be obtained from Nepalese Consulate in your country or it can also be acquired upon arrival in Kathmandu Airport.
- Recent cost for Nepalese Visa is placed at US$ 40
All of the clients must have comprehensive travel insurance package. By comprehensive travel insurance package we mean the insurance against medical, personal accident, trip cancellation, emergency evacuation, natural calamity, lost of gears, theft or damage to baggage and others.
Flight Delay/ Cancelation:
Nepal is a mountainous country. Flight by plane and helicopter especially in the isolated lands of Everest Region, Annapurna Region, Simikot, Jumla and Dolpo including some other regions can be either delayed or cancelled due to bad weather and other technical difficulties. So, remember to carry extra money to buy foods and for accommodation purpose in case of delays. We will not be responsible for the additional expenses incurred due to cancelation or delay.
Your Personal Belongings:
We will not be held accountable for any loss or damage of your luggage or property even when shouldered by porters, ponies or vehicles. So, remember that it is your responsibility to safeguard your personal possessions and luggage during the whole trip.
During the Tour:
Full authority is allowed to your tour guide and trek guide appointed by Grandi Travels and Tour Pvt. Ltd. You should not commit any unlawful act. In case of such unlawful acts, you will be expelled from the tour. No refund will be made in such case.
